Japanese watch maker Seiko has come up with a new line-up of watches that bears the popular Street Fighter V motif, the Seiko 5 Sports, and it’s headed for the Philippine market.

Based on six of the popular franchise’s most beloved characters, the collection of watches are inspired after Blanka, Chun-Li, Guile, Ken, Ryu, and Zangief.

More than just a difference in emblazon according to each character’s overarching color theme, each variant also sees drastic disparity in terms of design as seen in the intricate and minute details, including the bezels, straps, and the watch faces.

Speaking of straps, the Blanka and Zangief versions get nylon, Chun-Li and Guile get calf, and Ken and Ryu get both calf and canvas. 

At the back, each watch is engraved with a command that alludes to the corresponding figure’s signature move.

Under the hood, the Seiko 5 Sports features a Caliber 4R36, 24 jewels, manual winding, 41-hour power reserve, and a second hand. Other notable highlights include a transparent back case and water resistance of up to 10 bars.

Seiko Philippines announces that the stocks will be limited, even in other countries. Globally, there will only be 9,999 stocks to be sold which eager buyers can purchase at any Seiko boutique or retail partner beginning September 2020.
