Smart Communications is set to bring more 5G phones in the country.
Just recently, the PLDT subsidiary made its 5G commercial service live in select cities and locations in Metro Manila and Pampanga. Along with this, the telco also revealed that they have teamed up with top brands like Huawei, Realme, Vivo, Samsung, and others to bring new 5G smartphones in the Philippines.
Now, it appears that the initial devices that are ‘Smart 5G certified’ will be coming from Realme, Vivo, Samsung. On its official 5G webpage, the company has teased the arrival Realme X5 Pro 5G — Realme’s proper flagship phone for 2020.
Its 5G connectivity came from the high-end Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 octa-core processor. It also has a 90Hz 6.44-inch AMOLED screen, dual front and quad rear cameras, and a 4,200mAh battery with 65W SuperDart charger.
Also under the ‘Coming Soon’ status is the new Vivo X50 Pro. This thing comes with a Snapdragon 765G processor, a 6.56-inch FHD+ screen, 4.315mAh battery with 33W fast charging, and quad cameras on the back.
Smart also teased an unannounced Samsung smartphone. Judging by the silhouette and the imminent Unpacked event, it’s going to be the Galaxy Note 20. Also part of the Smart 5G certified list is the Huawei P40, P40 Pro, and the brand new Huawei Nova 7.
