The Vivo V19 Neo is the latest midrange phone from Vivo to launch in the Philippines. The handset features a large OLED display, a Snapdragon 675 chipset, and 48MP quad cameras.
The Vivo V19 Neo has an official price of PHP 17,999. Pre-orders are currently ongoing in Shopee and Lazada until June 19, 2020. You can read more about the phone and the freebies that come with it here.
Unlike the many other handsets in the market right that opt for plain white boxes, the Vivo V19 Neo is wrapped in a flashy black box with an embossed silhouette of the phone. Even among midrangers, its packaging is quite eye-catching.
Check out our unboxing photos below:
Inside, the handset is bundled with a pair of in-ear headphones, a USB Type-C cable, a fast charger, a silicone case, warranty documentation, a SIM ejector, and a pre-installed plastic screen protector.

As you can see in the photo, our review unit is in Crystal White. And I can tell you right now that that is the color to choose when you decide to get the Vivo V19 Neo.
The colorway looks elegant with a pearl-like finish. It has a solid build with a clean layout typical of most Vivo smartphones. Its also large, measuring in at 159.01 x 74.17 x 8.54 mm, but its nowhere as thick as the new realme phones.
The Vivo V19 Neo has a 6.44-inch full HD AMOLED display with a 2400 x 1080 resolution, an in-display fingerprint scanner, and a punch hole cutout on the upper right corner.
On the right side, you have the power button and the volume keys. They’re slightly above the center, easily within reach of my thumb or index finger, depending on which hand is used to hold it.
The SIM tray is located on the left side. And at the bottom is where you’ll find the 3.5mm headphone jack, a microphone, a USB Type-C port, and the single speaker. There’s also another microphone at the top.
Moving on to the back, we have one of the V19 Neo’s highlight features — the quad cameras. The four sensors and the LED flash are in a rectangular setup that slightly sticks out. It has a 48MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide, a 2MP depth, and another 2MP macro.

Here are some sample photos. At first glance, I was surprised at how good the images look. The colors are pleasant and I like how the auto HDR kicks in to brighten a scene. These were resized for the web with quality set at 60 by the way.
As for the Vivo V19 Neo’s internals, the phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 processor with a whopping 8GB RAM and ample 128GB storage. It has a microSD slot in case you need more storage.
The phone runs on Vivo’s own Funtouch OS 10, which is based on Android 10. Basic navigation looks butter smooth and it feels responsive.
