Since Xiaomi will discontinue with the production of Android One phones, the Mi A-series is now axed from its lineup. The company has officially given confirmation that phones running on Android One will no longer be released, which clearly mean that there will be no Mi A4.
The reasons for this discontinuation were not mentioned, but it could be related to issues Xiaomi was facing with respect to software updates to these phones. Though the Android One program is all about longer support and swift updates, theirs is often late.
