When it comes to buying products online, the YugaTech team is keen on verifying good deals and quality—especially when buying expensive items. By refusing to go outside more often, most of us spend our time online shopping for the gadgets and tech accessories we need and want.
So to guide you in your online shopping, here are the tech peripherals and accessories we bought online for December (2020).
Louie Diangson – Managing Editor
• Nintendo Switch – Animal Crossing: New Horizons Edition
For December, I bought a Nintendo Switch – Animal Crossing: New Horizons Edition. I’ve always wanted to purchase a Switch since I’m looking for a console with plenty of family-friendly games. The timing is perfect as the New Horizons Edition is on sale at GameXtreme. I recommend this for gamers looking for a portable console and who want to share their love for gaming with family or friends.

• Baseus C2 Desktop Vacuum Cleaner
We usually don’t notice them, but our workstations and gadgets accumulate dirt and dust over time. This bullet vacuum cleaner has everything that I liked. It’s compact yet powerful which can suck out dirt from my table and even on hard to reach areas of my mechanical keyboard and laptop. On paper, its battery life can only last 20 minutes on continuous use. However, it can last days if you don’t use it longer. It also comes with a detachable brush head and is rechargeable through a USB-C cable.

• Xiaomi Mi Band 5
• IKEA Lamp
• Mirror + Ring light
• Headphones
• Mini Keyboard
I’ve got quite a lot of things for myself last December, and those include tech buys! The Xiaomi Mi Band 5 is what I consider my gift for myself this Christmas. However, the lamp, mirror + ring light, headphones, and mini keyboard are some of the stuff I tag as rewards for surviving the year 2020. All of these are highly recommendable since all are bang for the buck!
Joey Maceda – Video Production Manager
• Creality Ender 3 Pro
I’ve wanted my own 3D printer for as long as I can remember, and I finally decided to pull the trigger last month. Having no prior experience with 3D printing, I went with the Creality Ender 3 Pro because of its ease of use and relatively low cost. Now, excuse me while I print a bunch of Baby Yodas.
Justine Basco – Multimedia Producer
• Electric Toothbrush Holder
• Oral-B Electric Toothbrush Vitality Gum Care
• Mitsushi M10 Powerbank 10000mAh LED
• Mitsushi C18 18W
• Mitsushi Portable 3-in-1 Aluminum Alloy Quick Charge Cable
• Sandisk Ultra Micro SDXC 64GB
• Huawei Matepad T10s
• 20cm 360 Degrees Flexible Lamp Holder Clip
My top three recommendations include the Oral-B Electric Toothbrush that works well for sensitive teeth. I also bought a case for it so I can bring it anywhere.
My next recommendation is the Huawei Matepad T10s, which I bought twice already for my family members and me. The lack of Google Mobile Services didn’t bother us, and we practically use it every day, especially for binge-watching on Netflix. Plus, its Dolby Atmos speakers are a real steal.
The third is the compact Mitsushi 3-in-1 Aluminum Alloy Quick Charge Cable. With all three cables (Type-C, MicroUSB, lightning) in one stylish and sleek form factor, it lessens my worries of messed up or dangling cables in my bag and about not bringing the right cable at all.

• Xiaomi Nathome Air Fryer
I finally gave in to the air fryer hype, and so far, I’m loving it. If you’re lazy, then I highly recommend you buy this one too.
Enzo Angeles – Multimedia Producer
• Panasonic Lumix 25mm F 1.5
I highly recommend it because of its lightweight build, great in low light situations, and stabilization. This is a perfect and essential lens for people who are venturing into filmmaking.
Joaquin Segovia – Operations Specialist
• Bitcoins
Disclaimer: I am not an expert. This is just from my experience as a newbie on crypto. I recommend this for someone who has extra cash to save the value of their money. I treat this as gold where you can save your money from inflation and at the same time earn thru time.
Also, treat this as an investment (higher risk attached high return, so if you are a type of person who can’t stand to lose money, I don’t recommend Bitcoin for you since it is very volatile.
Kathleen Manangkil – Accounts Manager
• iPhone 12 Pro Max (256gb)
• Rock Phone Case & Tempered Glass
• Airpods Gen 2
• T500 Smartwatch
• Magnetic Phone Ring Holder/Stand
I totally recommend buying these products. However, if I were to pick my top 3 recommendations, it would be the iPhone 12 Pro Max, AirPods, and phone case. The iPhone 12 Pro Max might be a little bit pricey, but I assure you, it will never let you down. As for the AirPods, I purchased the OEM one, because why not? It’s cheap, but the quality is also as good as the original one.
Finally, I recommend the phone case as it is actually pretty sturdy, you don’t have to worry whenever you drop your phone, but it is not advisable for someone who plays a lot. In my experience, if the game has a high frame rate, it heats your phone too fast. So I suggest if you really play a lot, then invest in a phone cooling case instead.
