After a series of half reveals and leaks, the realme 7 and realme 7 Pro are finally official. This caps off realme’s busy first week of September, which opened with the launch of the realme X7 series.

The much awaited realme 7 series come packing with impressive spec sheets, including quad rear cameras, punch hole displays, and faster charging speeds

Before we go into the specs, I’ll show the prices first. Since these are realme devices, affordability is an important part of the brand.

  • realme 7 6GB + 64GB: INR 14,999 (~PHP 9,900)
  • realme 7 8GB + 128GB: INR 16,999 (~PHP 11,300)
  • realme 7 Pro 6GB + 128GB: INR 19,999 (~PHP 13,300)
  • realme 7 Pro 8GB + 128GB: INR 21,999 (~PHP 14,500)

We expect the realme 7 series to make a landfall in the Philippines soon. But price and availability are still unknowns at this point.

Let’s start with the vanilla realme 7. The handset comes with a 6.5-inch full HD+ IPS display with 90Hz refresh rate and a 16MP punch hole selfie camera.

Under the hood is a MediaTek Helio G95 gaming processor with 6GB +64GB and 8GB + 128GB configurations. You also get a 5,000mAh battery with 30W fast charge.

There are four cameras at the back, namely, a 64MP main, an 8MP ultra-wide, a 2MP monochrome, and a 2MP macro.

Other features include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, USB Type-C port, and realme UI.

The realme 7 Pro expectedly comes with better specs, but loses out on a few things in exchange for upgrades in other areas.

For starters, it has a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display but with a standard 60Hz refresh rate. It has an in-display fingerprint scanner, and a punch hole selfie camera in the same location, but with a 32MP sensor.

Inside, the phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G with two RAM options, 6GB or 8GB, and 128GB UFS 2.1 storage. It has the same set of cameras as the vanilla variant — 64MP main, an 8MP ultra-wide, a 2MP monochrome, and a 2MP macro.

The realme 7 Pro has a smaller 4,500mAh battery, but with faster 65W fast charging.

The handset also features a USB Type-C port, stereo speakers, and realme UI.
